Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc has been training dogs for clients around the globe since 1999. We have the experience and integrity to train and deliver the very top quality of detection and patrol canines to any client, anywhere in the world. This experience means that the client can relax and let us manage the transportation of our dogs right to their kennels and handlers.

We can either train the handlers here at our facility in the United States or we can take our training program to the clients’ location. Whatever makes more sense and is cost effective for our clients and their needs. We have trained dogs for clients as far away as Thailand and the Philippine Islands.

Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc is now providing explosive detection canines for a large oil expiditionary company and its security forces in Somalia, Africa. These sinlge purpose explosive detection canines are trained at our training facility in Michigan and then transported to Solmalia by security company personell.

Defence International Security Services Mid-Michigan Kennels inc., provides canines and training for Defence International Security Services. This is a British based company that employs 32 officers with canines in England and 10 officers and canines in Thailand. DISS is a highly respected company that delivers unparalleled professionalism and reliability to its clients. Mid-Michigan Kennels inc., is proud to supply highly trained dogs and professional training for DISS.

Philippine Airlines
Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc., has been training Explosive Detection Canines for the Philippine Airlines security for the last 7 years. Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc conducts the basic handlers’ courses at our training facility in Michigan. We also conduct annual refresher training and evaluations on site at the Manila International Airport in Manila.

Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc., has trained over 25 Explosive Detection Canines for PAL. All of these dogs are highly trained and work in a wide variety environments. They conduct baggage searches, cargo searches, aircraft searches, both commercial and passenger vehicle searches as well as VIP sweeps at hotels.

Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc is dedicated to ensuring every team it trains success. Each year Owner/Trainer Mike Morgan travels to Manila and conducts evaluations and refresher training to ensure that the Philippine Airlines handlers are in top working order and to maintain the integrity of their canines.

In 2009, Philippine Airlines Canine Handlers participated in a multi organizational competition in explosive canine detection. The competition was held over a series of days in several search areas and types. Organizations that participated in this competition included the Philippine Airforce, the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, The Manila International Airport Police, and a private security group. The Philippine Airlines Explosive Canine Teams trained by Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc took many of the top honors and placings. We are very proud of our work with the Philippine Airlines.
