Obedience – Mid-Michigan Kennels offers a full range of group obedience classes. These classes offer dog owners the opportunity to work with their dogs in an environment with a high level of distractions. Mid-Michigan Kennels offers obedience training based on compulsion, leadership, and positive reinforcement. These classes teach your dog heel, sit, down, stay, and coming when called.

In-Kennel Obedience – We do all of the training of the 8 week group obedience course. At the conclusion of the dog’s training, the owner is instructed on how to handle and maintain the dog‘s training. Should any additional help be needed, the dog and the owner are invited back at no additional cost for follow-up instruction. Cost of this service is $250 per week which includes the dog and owner’s training as well as boarding. In most cases the dog’s training can be completed in two weeks.
In-Kennel Protection – This training teaches your dog to defend and protect you and your family on command and when needed. The personal protection training does not take away the dog’s ability to be a friendly and social member of your family. The cost of this training is $350 per week; this includes the owner’s training and boarding.
Personal Protection – Mid-Michigan Kennels offers training for the dog enthusiasts that desire to compete in personal protection based competition such as Schutzhund, or K-9 Pro Rodeo. The cost of this training is $250 for the 8 week course.
Tracking – Mid-Michigan Kennels offers tracking training for Competition or Search and Rescue work. This is a great way to spend quality time with your dog and offer a valuable service to the community should it ever be needed. The cost of this training is $225 per 8 week course.
Agility – Mid-Michigan Kennels offers private and group agility classes. These classes prepare your dog for agility competition and are a fun way to spend quality time with your canine companion. The cost of this training is $225 per 8 week course.
Conformation – Mid-Michigan Kennels offers training services to prepare dog owners as well as their dogs for conformation shows and obedience trials. Prices vary, based on situation.
