Mike Morgan,
Owner-Trainer

Mike has been serving his country and law enforcement since 1980. He has been involved in, and training Police Canines since 1990. He has worked a Dual Purpose Narcotics Detection German Shepherd on the streets for the Dewitt Township Police Department and was the department's Canine Trainer. Mike was on active duty with the United States Army from 1980 through 1989. He then left active duty to attend the 46th Mid-Michigan Police Academy and continued to serve his country in the Michigan National Guard. In 1998 Mike left the Dewitt Township Police Department to work full time for the National Guard in the Counter Drug Support Division and continues to help safe guard our children from illegal drugs.

Mike is also a member of the International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA). In 2003 Mid-Michigan Kennels Inc had the number one and number two dog in the United States in the Professional Class of the K-9 Pro Sports organization. Mike is dedicated to remain a mid-sized training facility where quality NOT quantity will always be the priority.

Kaye Byerly Kaye Byerly,
Obedience and Agility Instructor

Kaye Byerly has been working with and training dogs for over 25 years. She started as a 4-H handler and has trained and worked with a large variety of breeds. Kaye trained and handled the number one dog in the United States in the Professsional Class of "K-9 Pro-Sports." She currently works for a Veterinarian and is a breeder of top quality German Shepherd puppies. Kaye brings both experience and professionalism into the training classroom.
